Seven ISO certifications
Based on our vision and our strategy to achieve developmental goals, improve operational efficiency and strengthen our competitive position, KIHC has obtained seven ISO certifications.
Quality, information security and risk management held to seven audited international standards.
What a certification actually is
An ISO certification is not a badge a company awards itself. Each one is a published international standard, and holding it means an external auditor has examined how the firm works against that standard and will come back to check again. What follows is what each of the seven governs, and why it matters to someone taking advice from us.
-
ISO 90012015
Quality Management System
The general standard for how an organisation runs itself: defined processes, measured results, and a duty to correct what falls short. For a consultancy it is the backbone the other six sit on — it governs how an engagement is scoped, how the work is reviewed before it leaves the office, and what happens when a recommendation turns out to be wrong.
-
ISO/IEC 270012022
Information Security Management System
How information is classified, who may reach it, and what happens when something goes wrong. Advising on an insurance programme means handling valuations, claims histories, medical details and payroll data belonging to the client and to their staff. This standard governs how that material is held and who inside the firm can see it.
-
ISO 223012019
Business Continuity Management
What keeps running when something disrupts the office. A claim under review does not pause for a power cut or a closure, so this standard sets which functions must continue, how quickly they must be back, and who is responsible for restoring them.
-
ISO 310002018
Risk Management
A framework for identifying, assessing and treating risk. A consultancy applies it twice over — to the exposures we are engaged to assess for clients, and to the risks the firm itself carries in giving an opinion on them.
-
ISO 100012018
Customer Satisfaction — Codes of Conduct
What the firm commits to in writing before anything goes wrong: the promises made to clients about how an engagement will be run, and the internal rules that make those promises enforceable rather than decorative.
-
ISO 100022018
Customer Satisfaction — Complaints Handling
How a complaint is received, recorded, escalated and closed, and within what time. In consulting this matters most where a client disputes a finding or the handling of a claim — the standard defines the route they take when they are not satisfied with an outcome.
-
ISO 100042018
Customer Satisfaction — Monitoring and Measuring
The discipline of checking whether clients are actually satisfied rather than assuming it. It sets how satisfaction is measured, how often, and what has to happen when the measurement comes back poor.
Why we hold them
These certifications are evidence of the standard the company holds itself to, and of an ongoing commitment to the policies and guidelines that govern every business-related process. They are maintained by audit, not by assertion.
